Channeling, Shadow Work, and Spiritual Accountability

On this episode of Oui Talk Raw, Jennifer Busco sits down with David Majere to explore transcendental channeling, the discipline behind spiritual work, and how consciousness expansion can shift the way we move through daily life.

David shares how his path began at 17, what he learned through shadow work and accountability, and why understanding new energy matters for people seeking a more aligned way of being.

How David Majere Began Working With Ascended Masters at 17

David Majere

David began working consciously with Ascended Masters at 17 years old. He attended a school for channeling to learn energy exchange, shadow work, integrity, and accountability and responsibility for being a vehicle for the Acended Masters he works with. His journey as a vehicle has included speaking engagements, readings, writings and lessons to share on the subject of his groups specific focus. His study in life is understanding energy, the true nature of our minds, consciousness expansion, and following the tools his group has laid out to move beyond the physical focus and into a state of being.

Key Takeaways

This conversation offers plenty to think about, whether listeners approach it from a spiritual perspective, through their own healing experiences, or simply with curiosity about how they relate to themselves and the world around them.

Here are some of the biggest takeaways:

  • Healing may require a different perspective: Instead of continually addressing one problem after another, consider whether you’re repeating the same emotional patterns.
  • Your inner voice deserves attention: The loudest thoughts aren’t necessarily the ones offering the most helpful guidance.
  • Being present matters: Reconnecting with yourself doesn’t always require hours of meditation. Even a few intentional breaths can create an opportunity for awareness.
  • Nature offers an opportunity to reconnect: Walking, hiking, or spending time outdoors can help create space away from everyday pressures and judgments.
  • Judgment can become a barrier to peace: Examining the judgments we place on ourselves and others can open the door to a different perspective.
  • Healing is an ongoing process: Support from a healer can be valuable, but developing your own connection and awareness is equally important.
  • Positivity and consciousness aren’t the same: Simply trying to think positively doesn’t necessarily address deeper patterns of thinking and behavior.
  • Personal responsibility matters: Other people can offer guidance, but meaningful change ultimately requires individual participation.
  • You don’t have to escape everyday life to find peace: Small moments of breathing, grounding, and reconnecting can happen in the middle of ordinary responsibilities.
  • The answers may begin within: One of the central messages from Anathiel is that people may already possess more of what they are searching for than they realize.

David Majere Returns to Oui Talk Raw: Channeling Archangel Anathiel, Healing the Inner Self, and Finding the Way Within

What if the answers we’ve been searching for aren’t found by doing more, fixing more, or constantly trying to become someone different? What if the real work begins when we finally learn to be still and listen?

On this episode of Oui Talk Raw, host Jennifer Busco welcomes back David Majere for a conversation that takes an unexpected and deeply spiritual turn. David, who has been practicing channeling since the age of 17, returns with a new development in his work: the introduction of Archangel Anathiel, a feminine presence whose energy and teachings bring a different perspective to the conversations he has shared in the past.

Through David, Anathiel explores some big questions about human experience, including why we continually struggle with the same emotional patterns, how our inner voices influence the way we see ourselves, and whether healing might require something more than repeatedly addressing our problems.

Jennifer brings her own perspective as a healer, asking questions that help bring these expansive spiritual concepts back to everyday life. Together, they explore what it means to move beyond judgment, reconnect with ourselves, and discover that perhaps the path forward isn’t about doing more at all.

David Majere’s Journey Into Channeling and the Arrival of Archangel Anathiel

David’s journey into channeling began when he was just 17 years old. Rather than simply discovering an interest in spirituality, he committed himself to formal training, eventually leaving his life in New York and moving to a small town in South Dakota with a population of approximately 50 people.

There, he immersed himself in the work of understanding energy management, ego, personal awareness, and what we might now describe as shadow work.

With more than 30 years of experience, David describes channeling as something that has become inseparable from his everyday life. He doesn’t view it as something he can simply switch on and off. Instead, he describes himself as a physical antenna working with a collective group of beings to bring information and perspectives into the physical world.

During his previous appearance on Oui Talk Raw, David worked with a group known as Nathiel. This time, he introduces a new Speaker of the House: Archangel Anathiel.

A New Energy and a Different Perspective

David explains that the transition wasn’t necessarily something he welcomed immediately. As his own perceptions and understanding evolved, the energy he was working with changed as well.

Anathiel, he explains, had been present in his experience for some time, occasionally coming through with information that felt distinctly different. He describes her as having a feminine energy and a much higher frequency that he is still learning to harmonize with.

Jennifer is naturally intrigued by the change, particularly when David describes the possibility of eventually speaking in a completely feminine voice when Anathiel comes through clearly. Jennifer’s reaction brings some lightness to an otherwise complex subject, even jokingly referring to the experience as spiritual drag.

But the conversation soon moves beyond the mechanics of channeling and into the message itself.

Who Is Archangel Anathiel? Understanding the Message Behind the Channeling

When Anathiel comes through David, one of the first things she addresses is the meaning of the term Archangel.

Rather than limiting the explanation to traditional religious descriptions, Anathiel offers a broader interpretation, describing an Archangel as a being that exists more in a state of being than in words.

The emphasis is on energy, expression, and connection rather than simply communicating through language.

One of the central ideas in this introduction is that the spiritual connection people are searching for isn’t necessarily something outside themselves. Anathiel repeatedly brings the conversation back to the heart and the idea that the connection people seek is already within them.

This becomes a recurring theme throughout the interview: people aren’t necessarily missing something. They may have simply lost touch with what is already there.

Anathiel also emphasizes that the purpose of the conversation isn’t to restrict what Jennifer can ask. She invites an open discussion, making it clear that no question or subject is off limits.

Healing the Inner Child and Breaking Old Belief Systems

Jennifer begins the deeper conversation with a question that connects directly to her own work as a healer.

How do people begin healing the belief systems that no longer serve them? What happens to the childhood experiences, inner voices, and feelings of unworthiness that continue influencing adult decisions and relationships?

It’s a question many people can relate to, whether they identify with spiritual practices or simply understand what it feels like to carry old emotional experiences into the present.

Anathiel initially acknowledges the value of traditional healing practices. Communication, energy work, breathing, releasing fear, and expanding awareness can all help someone feel more centered and empowered.

But then comes a challenge to the way people typically approach healing.

Are We Constantly Repeating the Same Healing Cycle?

Anathiel introduces the idea of the mountain.

Imagine someone repeatedly working through emotional difficulties, resolving one issue, feeling better, and then eventually finding another problem waiting to be addressed.

The process begins again.

From this perspective, people can spend their lives circling the same mountain, continually working on the next problem without ever questioning why the cycle continues.

Anathiel doesn’t dismiss existing healing practices or suggest that those who use them are doing something wrong. Instead, the message challenges people to consider whether healing is always about addressing another problem or whether there is a deeper way to experience themselves.

The conversation introduces the idea that humanity is moving through a period of changing consciousness and higher energy. According to Anathiel, this shift can make unresolved patterns more noticeable and bring existing issues to the surface more quickly.

The bigger question becomes whether people are ready to change their relationship with those patterns rather than continually repeating the same process.

The Difference Between Being Positive and Becoming More Conscious

Another interesting distinction emerges when Anathiel discusses positivity.

Being positive and becoming more conscious aren’t necessarily the same thing.

The message suggests that people can spend considerable energy trying to improve their physical circumstances, relationships, careers, or financial situations while overlooking the deeper connection they are seeking.

There is always another goal, another achievement, or another external change that promises to make everything better.

But what happens when those things don’t provide the lasting sense of peace people expect?

Anathiel encourages listeners to consider whether they are searching externally for something that requires an internal shift.

How Do We Move Up the Mountain? Learning the Power of Being Present

One of Jennifer’s strongest questions comes after the first major discussion.

If people are continually going around the mountain, how do they actually move up it?

The answer is surprisingly simple, although perhaps not easy to put into practice.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about being.

Anathiel explains that people often become so consumed by their thoughts, responsibilities, emotional reactions, and judgments that they lose their connection to the present moment.

The mind becomes noisy, and the quieter voice within gets overlooked.

Reconnecting With Nature and the World Around Us

One of the practical examples Anathiel offers involves spending time in nature.

Walking through a park, hiking, or simply sitting near a tree can provide an opportunity to step away from the constant influence of human expectations and judgment.

Anathiel uses the example of a sunflower and a violet. One doesn’t judge the other for being different or decide that one is more beautiful.

They simply exist.

It’s an interesting contrast to the human tendency to compare, criticize, compete, and judge ourselves and others.

The discussion also connects nature with the nervous system. Jennifer agrees that time outdoors can help people feel calmer, and Anathiel uses this as an example of how reconnecting with the natural world can support a different internal experience.

The idea isn’t necessarily to escape everyday life. It’s to recognize that there are opportunities to reconnect with ourselves even in the middle of it.

The Voice We Don’t Pay Enough Attention To

Anathiel makes an important distinction between the loud internal voices that often dominate our thinking and the quieter voice that offers a different kind of guidance.

The familiar voices may remind us of past mistakes, tell us we’re not good enough, or make us feel ashamed, guilty, and unworthy.

But what about the quieter voice that recognizes when something doesn’t feel right or when a particular action isn’t bringing us joy?

That voice often gets overlooked because the louder thoughts demand so much attention.

Anathiel suggests that where we place our attention matters. Rather than allowing old emotional experiences to dictate every reaction, people can begin learning to recognize the quieter awareness that is already present.

Judgment, Acceptance, and the Search for Inner Peace

Another major theme throughout the conversation is judgment.

Anathiel challenges the idea that people are qualified to judge everything around them, suggesting that humanity spends far too much time evaluating itself, other people, and the circumstances of life.

The message returns to the idea that creation itself was declared perfect by God, and that people struggle when they attempt to impose their own judgments on everything that unfolds.

This doesn’t mean that people should stop questioning their experiences or ignore their circumstances. Instead, the discussion invites listeners to examine the judgments they carry and consider how those judgments influence their ability to experience peace.

Anathiel also connects this to acceptance.

People often spend enormous amounts of energy trying to change themselves into someone they believe they should be. They chase external validation, material possessions, relationships, and accomplishments, hoping those things will finally make them feel complete.

But the message suggests that the sense of completeness they are searching for is already available within.

One of the strongest ideas in this portion of the conversation is that people cannot simply force themselves into enlightenment or have someone else do the work for them. The choice to accept and reconnect with that inner awareness ultimately belongs to the individual.

Healing Beyond Reiki: Understanding the First Three Chakras

Jennifer’s background as a healer makes the discussion about chakras particularly interesting.

Anathiel connects the emotional experiences people describe with the first three chakras, associating them with feelings of being grounded, creative, and empowered.

These are also the areas where people often report feeling the greatest difficulties when they are struggling with fear, insecurity, or a lack of confidence.

Anathiel points out that during a healing session, people may experience a sense of empowerment, creativity, and grounding. However, those feelings can fade after the session ends.

This raises another question: What happens when people leave the healing environment and return to the same patterns that contributed to their struggles?

The message isn’t that Reiki or other healing practices are unnecessary. Rather, it encourages people to recognize that maintaining a connection with themselves is an ongoing practice.

The goal is not to depend on someone else to continually restore that feeling. It’s to learn how to reconnect with it independently.

For Anathiel, connecting with the earth, quieting the mind, and becoming present are important parts of that process.

Making Spirituality Practical: Small Steps for Everyday Life

One of Jennifer’s most relatable contributions comes toward the end of the interview.

After exploring concepts involving consciousness, energy, chakras, judgment, and spiritual connection, she asks a question that brings everything back to reality:

What can someone actually do to make their day better? What are the baby steps?

It’s a necessary question because spiritual concepts can sound wonderful in theory, but everyday life doesn’t stop while someone is trying to find inner peace.

There are children to pick up, groceries to buy, bills to pay, jobs to manage, and responsibilities that don’t disappear simply because someone wants to become more present.

Finding Moments of Connection in Ordinary Life

Anathiel offers a practical example.

Imagine driving to pick up the children, worrying about finances, and trying to figure out whether there is enough money to buy groceries.

At a red light, instead of continuing to get caught up in those thoughts, take a moment to breathe.

Reconnect with yourself as though you were sitting in a peaceful park.

When the light turns green, continue with the day.

The same idea applies to someone sitting in an office they don’t particularly enjoy. Take a moment to look outside, breathe, and remember yourself.

These small moments aren’t about abandoning responsibilities or pretending life’s challenges don’t exist. They’re opportunities to bring awareness into the middle of those responsibilities.

The message is that presence doesn’t have to be reserved for meditation retreats, spiritual gatherings, or quiet moments away from the world.

It can become part of everyday life.

As Anathiel explains:

“This is how you make it physical and make it fit into the nightmare that you call life.”

Why We Must Take Responsibility for Our Own Growth

The conversation also returns to personal responsibility and free will.

Anathiel explains that no one can simply remove another person’s struggles or force them into a state of enlightenment. Even with compassion and the desire to help, the decision to make a change belongs to the individual.

This is particularly relevant to the way people approach healing.

A practitioner can offer guidance, support, and an environment for growth, but the individual must ultimately choose to engage with the process.

The closing message encourages people to ask more questions, seek practical guidance, and expect more than inspirational words when exploring spiritual growth.

It’s not enough to talk about consciousness and change. People also need to understand how to bring those ideas into their everyday experiences.

David Majere’s Next Chapter: Finding the Inner Self

Following the channeling session, Jennifer reconnects with David and asks how he is feeling after the experience.

David explains that his work is currently transitioning. Through Transcendental Channeling, he has been sharing his experiences and teachings, but he is now taking a step back from public channeling to concentrate more heavily on writing.

One of his primary projects is a book called Finding the Inner Self.

The book was originally channeled when David was in his twenties. Now, after years of experience and reflection, he is working on adding material between the original chapters to explain the concepts more thoroughly.

The goal is to take readers through the foundational ideas before gradually introducing more complex concepts involving energy, awareness, and spiritual development.

Importantly, David describes the book as including exercises designed to help readers put the teachings into practice.

This feels like a natural continuation of the conversation with Jennifer. Throughout the interview, the message repeatedly returns to the importance of moving beyond simply discussing spiritual ideas and learning how to apply them.

For those interested in following David’s work, he shares that he can be found on Facebook, Instagram, and Substack under Transcendental Channeling.

A Conversation About Looking Within

David Majere’s return to Oui Talk Raw brings a different kind of conversation to Jennifer Busco’s interview chair.

What begins with an introduction to a new channeling presence becomes a deeper exploration of healing, human behavior, consciousness, and the ways people approach their own personal growth.

Jennifer’s questions help keep the discussion connected to real experiences, particularly when she asks how these teachings might apply to her work as a healer and to the everyday lives of people watching and listening.

David, through his work with Anathiel, presents a perspective that challenges listeners to reconsider the way they think about healing. Rather than endlessly chasing the next solution, perhaps there is value in learning to pause, listen, and recognize what is already within reach.

Whether every concept resonates with you or simply gives you something new to consider, the conversation leaves listeners with an important question:

Are you spending your life trying to fix everything around you, or are you making room to discover what’s happening within you?

Sometimes the next step isn’t another search for answers. Sometimes it’s taking a breath and finally listening.
