dwilly – HMU (feat. Meg Lieder)

dwilly meg lieder

dwilly is back with another percussive/synthy production. I’m super-impressed with this guy’s percussion arrangements. Super in-depth, clean, and the energy play is on point! The vocals on HMU is Berklee College of Music student, Meg Lieder, whose contemporary pop/R&B style vocals add a layer of cool to the entire production. This song has elements of hip-hop, pop, R&B, future bass, and trap, really showcasing dwilly’s versatility. The song was released on the Paris, France label Yunizon Records.

dwilly’s last song, Dreamland, starring Emilia Ali reach #24 on the iTunes pop chart. dwilly is also studying at the Berklee College of Music. dwilly is a classically trained pianist and orchestral drummer. That, plus knowing how to rock a DAW makes him a lethal force in music. Since he’s a true musician from the south, you can hear those trap drum influences in his sound. Not too many people in the south listen to the electronic stuff, so dwilly has a fresh unique take that he can bring to his productions.

Pumped to watch this producer grow!
