About Me – Eddie Mata

Eddie Mata, 22, a musician, artist, and everything in between. Born in Brazil and raised in Australia, Mata is currently based out of Charlotte, NC. Alt. Indie Pop/Rock is his jam. Imagine Dominic Fike, Dijon, D’Angelo, Arctic Monkeys, and David Byrne had a musical lovechild.

In addition to music, Mata blends sound, interactive digital art, and immersive installations (using collages and interactive homemade instruments) to create dynamic, sensory-driven experiences. Everything you’ve heard to this point has been played, produced, mixed/mastered by yours truly, with T(ender)L(ove)C(are), always, in bedrooms of sorts.
