About Me – Greg H Jackson
Greg Jackson, a Charlotte resident and father of three daughters, transitioned into a Christian rapper under the moniker Caliba. His journey took a pivotal turn during the September 2016 protests sparked by the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott. Initially joining the protest against the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, a transformative conversation altered Greg’s path. This encounter ultimately led him to establish the now-award-winning non-profit organization, Heal Charlotte. While actively contributing to the community, Greg underwent a spiritual transformation and was baptized in the name of JESUS in 2018. Channeling his passion for activism and community service, he translated his experiences into music that glorifies The LORD. Committed to spreading positivity through his music, Greg aims to provide support to individuals navigating both challenging and uplifting moments. His musical endeavors seek to sow seeds of hope in a world that is in dire need of it.
