About Me – Zac Robins

Zac Robins has been working and performing as a vocalist, guitarist, drummer, and audio engineer for the past 20+ years across the US East Coast. Zac started his musical journey as a young child with music lessons that taught him the basics of violin and voice. At 15 Zac picked up the guitar and drums playing in pop punk bands and ultimately going on his first tour by age 17.

Predominantly performing in the genres of pop and rock, Zac has been able to create unique stylistic fusions in his original music. Over the course of his career there have been many blessings and opportunities including opening for and performing with artists such as Lisa De Novo, Keegan Federal and The Smoking Section, Eternally Greatful, Chris Reed and the Bad Kids, Val Merza, Shana Blake, Shannon Lee, Whisky Richards, Zach Moss, Charlotte Bluegrass Allstars, Philmont and Nadéah Miranda

Today Zac is currently based in Charlotte NC and focused on releasing original music and teaching.

Known for his compelling original compositions and energetic live shows, Zac blends technical skill with heartfelt songwriting. He’s a staple of the Charlotte music scene—whether performing solo, leading the Zac Robins Trio, or hosting open jam sessions at local spots like Zee’s Tavern.

Zac’s current projects include Mirror Game, a rotating live ensemble delivering a mix of originals and inventive covers in 2–4 piece setups, and the Zac Robins Trio, a crowd favorite at venues like Triple C Brewing, The Comet Grill, Suffolk Punch, and Jambox.
