Using Creativity to Bring People Together
In this episode of Oui Talk Raw, Jennifer Busco sits down with artist, dancer, and cultural connector Shefalee V. Patel for a conversation about creativity, identity, and the power of bringing people together through art.
Based in South Charlotte, Shefalee has spent years creating spaces centered around storytelling, movement, and cultural connection — using art not just as expression, but as a way to build community and understanding.
We talk about the role dance and visual art play in human connection, why creative spaces matter more than ever, and how culture can become a bridge instead of a divide.
This is a conversation about expression, belonging, and the responsibility that comes with creating spaces where people feel seen.
