About Me – Krystle Baller
Krystle Baller (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, producer and community builder whose work transforms sound, story, and space into immersive experiences. Under the moniker krystilization, they create expansive electronic soundscapes and concept albums that invite listeners into journeys of healing, myth, and transformation. Their most recent release, Dust of the Self, unfolds as an ambient shamanic sound-journey that blurs the line between concert, ritual, and installation art. Alongside their solo practice, Krystle also co-leads Hey RICHARD, a high-energy feminist punk band. Where krystilization leans into meditative listening and narrative immersion, Hey RICHARD channels unapologetic punk spirit and electric immediacy, reminding audiences that music can be both deeply grounding and wildly liberating. As the Creative Director of We Rock Charlotte, Krystle has spent more than a decade fostering inclusive spaces where young people and adults alike can find empowerment through music and art. Whether behind synthesizers and surround sound systems, in front of roaring amplifiers, or guiding community-based workshops, their practice is united by one ethos: connection through rhythm, frequency, and shared experience.
