Oceanic’s Rise from Charlotte to the National Stage
About Me – Oceanic
Oceanic is a versatile indie pop band with a strikingly unique yet refined sound that evokes introspection and nostalgia with every listen. Their writing and approach are timeless, their sonics and creative collateral are second to none—they bring a fresh perspective to pop sensibility.
Since their formation eight years ago in 2016, Oceanic has independently amassed 5 million Spotify streams, played over 150 shows across the U.S., shared stages with bands like COIN, Judah & The Lion, and Vacation Manor, sold out headlining shows with over 300 fans, and performed at festivals alongside Noah Kahan, Post Malone, Stevie Nicks, Dominic Fike, and more.
The band is composed of three core members: Nathan, Jacob, and Sam. Nathan is the main lyricist and lead singer, Jacob styles the song with electric guitar, Sam plays bass and arranges the music; all members play key roles in the production and personality of the music.
Beyond the music, the band is committed to creating unforgettable experiences for everyone who comes in contact with them. Oceanic intentionally develops their brand with highly-refined live experiences, innovations like creating a video game alongside music release, and personally connecting with fans through their online presence.
