Who Is Blankstate?
Blankstate is an up-and-coming indie band based in Charlotte, NC. Formed in 2021, the young band has been working hard to get their music out to local and regional fans by touring the area and releasing their music online. They released their first album, The World Is Not Kind To These Things, in November of 2022 with a full collection of 12 unique songs. They have also released several singles, including “Dinosaur Camp,” which is the most recent, “Alone In The End” and “Goodnight.” Each song is truly unique from the others and brings with it something unexpected and refreshing.
The three-piece band has a particularly unique sound and distinct tastes that differ from most genres
of music. They experiment with unique sounds and melodies and often have creative and artistic lyrics. Their music can be described as an eclectic mix of rock, jazz, and pop with a whimsical and magical twist.
With strong guitar riffs and a solid drum piece in each song, the band brings a twist to every song they write and perform. Solid bass brings together each song and adds fullness to the bottom end, rounding out the music. The fact that this band has been able to put together their first album and showcase their unique talents at such an early stage in their career is a true testament to how talented the individuals genuinely are at their crafts.
The band has a large following on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music, and their songs are receiving thousands of streams, with the most popular songs currently being “Lovely1,” “Jasper Never Cries,” and “Say It Back.” Check out their songs on Spotify for an unforgettable musical experience.
